Best Ways for a Woman to Conceal Carry Her Hellcat

Concealing any firearm comfortably and effectively can be a challenge. I’ve been a CCW permit holder for five years now and have struggled because I am a small-framed woman. I’ve struggled to find the best way for me to carry my Springfield Hellcat.

The only way to effectively conceal carry a firearm is to have a set up that makes it effortless for you to carry. When Springfield Armory released the Hellcat, I was blown away by its carrying capacity and small size.

I soon realized that I owned the perfect conceal carry firearm and with my years of experience carrying other Springfields, I was ready to carry it in the most effective ways. But, I needed to find the best CCW holsters for the Springfield Hellcat. Check out my video above to find out more.

Azyre Vest

As a woman, apparel built specifically for us to carry a gun can be some of the best investments we ever make. The Azyre Believe Concealed Cari vest is one of my most used carry pieces. Not only is it cute and fashionable, it is also fully ambidextrous and you never notice that your firearm is even there!

The Azyre Believe Concealed Cari Vest is a comfortable, low-key way to carry your Hellcat.

As a lefty, I place my gun in the conceal carry pocket on the right of the vest and an extra magazine in the left pocket. Having a spare magazine can be crucial in a life or death situation.

Most people think of pocket carry exclusively as a pant pocket. These CCW vests are perfect for a woman who wants to pocket carry, but finds her jeans are simply too tight and the pockets are too small.

The vest comes in the colors lichen, antler, and black, and I highly recommend adding one to your wardrobe! It is a great layering piece that you can easily add to any outfit.

The Crossbreed Reckoning is a perfect method for women to appendix carry a Hellcat
The Crossbreed Reckoning IWB holster lets you comfortably conceal the Hellcat.

Crossbreed Reckoning

The next item I use to conceal carry my Hellcat is the Crossbreed Reckoning inside the waistband (IWB) holster. This holster fits seamlessly inside your pants. I personally like to buy my jeans about 1″ larger than my actual waist size for concealed carry comfort. This gives your waistline a little bit more room to conceal a firearm comfortably.

If you like appendix carry, the Reckoning is a great choice for women! I had the holster for a review and it rode well without causing any discomfort. I recommend wearing a sturdy gunbelt, but you can wear it without in a pinch.

Tactica Gear

Tactica is a women’s apparel brand built around concealed carry comfort. For me it is a great way for a woman to conceal carry a handgun.

My favorite pieces from them include the blue Classy Concealment Two Piece Top, and the Clever Concealment Camo Sweater. The blue two-piece top can be worn around town, to work, or even on a date. It is a cute two-piece blouse combination that makes it easy to hide your Hellcat.

The camo sweater also effortlessly hides your Hellcat and simultaneously makes it easy to draw your weapon whenever you need it.

The Hailey Clutch from Hiding Hilda is a good option for women looking to CCW a Hellcat

Hailey Clutch from Hiding Hilda

The final conceal carry piece of this video is the Hailey Conceal Carry Crossbody Clutch from Hiding Hilda. This classy, two-toned leather purse has a lockable compartment to carry your Hellcat.

One of my favorite things about the Hellcat is how lightweight it is! When I reviewed the Hailey Clutch, I discovered you can have a fully loaded Hellcat in this purse as well as your wallet, keys, and other belongings and not feel like it’s weighing you down.

A concealed carry purse is a great and easy way to carry your Hellcat every day and everywhere. Just make sure you constantly retain control of the bag. I hope to do a full Hiding Hilda review in the future!

Conclusion

So there you have it, five ways I’ve found for a woman to conceal carry a defensive pistol like the Hellcat. I really like the little gun, and it’s nice to have so many options as a woman for carrying it. It makes a great gun even better!
